With more than three billion pounds of fresh milk to market annually, Maryland & Virginia supplies a variety of customers with wholesome milk and dairy products to consumers on the East Coast.
Member milk serves major metropolitan areas in Baltimore, Md., Washington, D.C., Richmond, Va., Charlotte, N.C., Atlanta, Ga. and many more.
In addition, Maryland & Virginia member milk supplies four of the cooperative's value-added businesses, two fluid processing plants and two manufacturing plants.
- Marva Maid Dairy, Newport News, Va.
Processing a complete line of fluid milk products, Marva Maid has been a profitable part of the Maryland & Virginia family of businesses since 1962. The plant can process more than 25 million pounds
of milk monthly and supplies only the finest retail stores throughout Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia. With its innovative processing and bottling, Marva Maid continues to be the top milk supplier
in the region and was a leader in developing the new look of school milk. We are very proud to supply milk and ice cream to the U.S. military in Virginia and abroad. Pure and Simple, that's our motto!

- Marva Maid Landover
In March 2006, Marva Maid of Landover became the newest member of Maryland & Virginia's processing family. Located in Landover, Md., Marva Maid of Landover has the ability
to process up to 32 million pounds of milk each month, in addition to bottled water and fruit drinks. Beginning Sept. 1, 2006, Marva Maid of Landover will begin processing and
distributing milk under the Marva Maid label. Marva Maid of Landover products can currently be found in more than 200 grocery stores in Maryland, Delaware, Washington, D.C.,
southern New Jersey and northern Virginia under the Giant and Stop and Shop labels.
- Maola Milk and Ice Cream
Acquired in January 2003, Maola Milk and Ice Cream located in New Bern, N.C., processes and packages fluid milk, juice and other products for consumers in North Carolina,
South Carolina and Virginia. The plant can process up to 20 million pounds of milk each month. The Maola brand and product line features 48 flavors of ice cream,
33 varieties of milk and five kinds of ice cream novelties. Founded in 1935, Maola has a strong reputation for producing top quality dairy products.
Maola employs more than 400 people in New Bern, N.C., and at 13 distribution centers in the southeast. Follow the cow to your nearest retail outlet.

- Manufacturing Plant
Butter, condensed milk and nonfat dry milk powder are produced at the member-owned manufacturing plant in Laurel, Md.
These ingredients are marketed to food companies that manufacture products such as infant formula, ice cream, candy and bakery items.
The quality, variety and competitive price of Laurel's milk powder products allow the plant to supply top manufacturing markets
across the country and around the world. Serving as a regional balancing plant since 1955, Laurel processes between 25 million
and 110 million pounds of milk each month, depending on the seasonal supply of milk. Brochures about the Laurel operation have
been produced in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

- Valley Milk Products
Valley Milk Products LLC, a partnership between Maryland & Virginia and Utz Lake Inc., is a balancing plant located in Strasburg, Va.,
which complements the manufacturing plant in Laurel, Md. Supplying a variety of customers in the eastern third of the U.S.,
Valley Milk is capable of processing over 200 million pounds of milk each year in the form of cream, butter, dried milk powder
and condensed milks. These ingredients are used in making bread, ice cream, baby food and frozen dinners.
