Leadership Council
The Leadership Council is fully established, meeting with the Board and Management in January and July and also attending the Annual Meeting in March. At the last meeting, the Council heard about the new Dairy Farmers Assuring Responsible Management (FARM) program and also received the mid-year financial information. CEO Jay Bryant provided and overview of National Milk Producers Federation's Foundation for the Future (FFTF) and the USDA Dairy Industry Advisor Committee.
Leadership Council Members are expected to attend their local District Meeting where nominations will be made to fill vacancies of those whose Leadership Council terms have expired. The next Leadership Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 8 in Asheville, N.C. and Thursday, February 10 in Gettysburg, Pa.
